About Elena
When editing became digital, Elena Bromund was one of the first AVID users in Germany in 1992.
She started her career editing commercials and went on to work on documentaries, music videos, feature films, and TV movies – both in Germany and internationally. With more than 30 years in the film industry, Elena is one of the most experienced editors across all genres.
She also works as a consultant and dramatic advisor for directors and editors.
Elena was nominated for Best Editing for the German Film Prize for “Go for Zucker” (directed by Dani Levy) and won the Cyclope Award for the short film “Highschool Never Ends” (directed by Matt Lambert). As a director, she received the Best Debut Film award for “Dance for All” at the Hof Film Festival.
She lives and works in Berlin and is married to Franz Lustig, an internationally acclaimed Director of Photography.
